I wonder if this one will have punk rock music in it?

We still have a space program?

Activision announced today that they currently have, in development, a brand new Tony Hawk game entitled "Tony Hawk's Proving Ground", showing the world that they are slowly running out of titles for this long running series. Rumors are circulating that the next game in the series will be entitled "Tony Hawk's WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

According to the press release: "For the first time, players will have the freedom to define their character, story and style based on the choices they make, the paths they choose and the style of skating they use on the proving grounds from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, D.C."

I'm not sure what this is...

The new game will feature what looks to be a pretty cool "video editor", so you can make totally gnarly bitchin' rad skate videos and shit, yo.

Here what that looks like

You'll also be able to go from single-player mode to online mode "seamlessly" and Nail The Trick mode will be expanded to include Nail the Grab and Nail The Manual.

The Nail the Skate Groupie mode had to be scratched in order for the game to get a T rating.

The new Tony Hawk game will once again include tricks no one in the right mind would try doing in real life...

There is also a "Skate Lounge" where you can hang out online with other skaters in the Ultimate Pad! I bet you can put posters and stuff up in it! I hope it's like on of those cool undround bomb shelter looking things like the one Tony Hawk had in Gleaming The Cube.

Tonk Hawk's Proving Ground is not yet rated by the ESRB and will be released later this year on the Xbox 360, the Wii, Playstations 2 and 3 and the Nintendo DS. It will not be released on the Playstation Portable because no one really actually owns one of those anyway.
