Spring is always a time to clean out the old stuff and bring in the new. So I feel this is the perfect time to make this announcement.

As of today, March 4th, 2007, Assistant Editor in Chief Mark Osborne has been promoted to Editor in Chief of Binary Culture.

Mark is a hell of a writer. He is also a fountain of ideas and a great guy. He'll keep the funny going, as well as coming up with the really cool features and whatnot that you've come to expect from us.

As for me, I'm diving head first into my dream of being a stand-up comedian, which I admit sounds like a joke in of itself, but I'm dead serious. I'll still be contributing articles and reviews every now and then, much like Stephen Webster, our other former EIC, has been doing. But as I can no longer devote the time and energy to making this wonderful site as good as it can possibly be, I gladly hand over the reins to Mark.

Best of luck, Mark. And best of luck to me. I'm gonna fucking need it.
