Watercooler Games is reporting that NYU student Jenny Choudhurdy in the Interactive Telecommunications Program program has dedicated her thesis to creating video game controllers using underwear, specifically a bra and a pair of boxer shorts.
While it may seem frivolous or useless at first, the project takes on a different tone when Choudhurdy expounds on the motivations for her project. In her thesis presentation, she cites three major influences; the alienating influence of video games on relationships, the progress of non traditional controller interfaces such as DDR mats, and her experience in making a pong controller out of a bra.
Essentially, her aim is to make a gaming experience to bring couples together rather than pull them apart. Her full explanation behind the project and the development process can be seen at her
