Paramount Pictures announced that Glaswegian comic book/occult guru Grant Morrison will be writing the screenplay for the upcoming film adaptation of Konami's classic arcade shooter Area 51, instantly changing everyone's interest in the project from We Don't Give a Shit to Say What?!

Morrison is well known for comics involving aliens including his acclaimed run on Animal Man and his iconoclastic creator owned series The Invisibles, although his use of them tends to be more... cerebral than your average Area 51 session tends to be.

Mark Osborne, Editor in Chief of Binary Culture, is not a motherfucking happy kitten.
